Are you a flashpacker too? I was inspired by this post I unearthed at EuroCheapo when researching for my last trip to put together a list of free WiFi points across Europe. After the jump, find a resource with links to lists, maps and addresses where you can get online with your laptop in Europe’s capital cities. Feel free to add your own links to other major cities in the comments.
First, all the cities that have real, honest-to-goodness *free* access in a public space — often municipally provided — to the internet:

- Berlin
- Bern
- Brussels 1 (prior software download required)
- Helsinki
- Luxembourg
- Madrid
- Paris
- Rome 1 (mobile number required)
Next, all the cities where you shouldn’t have to hunt too hard to find an WLAN-friendly cafe or chain restaurant offering online access:

It’s not impossible, but best of luck to you in:
Errors, out of date, links not working? Leave a comment and I’ll fix it!
